When failure is not an option or space is at a premium: GS’ printed circuit boards are found in small children’s Cochlear Implants allowing them to hear their mother’s voice for the first time in their life, in implanted blood pumps extending the life of patients with advanced heart failures, in hearing aids letting elderly people participate again in social life, but also in two Rovers on Mars as well as in over a hundred satellites circling the earth. PCBs seem quite simple from the outside but they have an intricate inner working structure. Manufactured in over 60 different process steps ranging from laser drilling, plasma etching, and chemical treatments. Materials used can be thinner than one sixth of a human hair. The final product can be as rigid as steel or as flexible as a piece of paper with gold plated traces so small they can only be seen apart with a magnifying glass. GS is a world leader in the PCB industry when it comes to miniaturization and our new Semi-Additive Process will keep us on top for many years to come! At its production site in Küssnacht am Rigi in the heart of Switzerland close to 200 dedicated employees are proud to apply their knowledge and experience to manufacture PCBs of highest quality in accordance with customer specifications. A close and continued cooperation with our clients ensures an excellent design and manufacturability. Our honesty and openness lead to trusted and long-standing customer relationships. An equal opportunity employer, GS is small enough for people to know each other which is further facilitated by regular company events. Swiss in its heart but international in its orientation, GS is a healthy company and has been steadily growing since 1981. To ensure its future competitiveness GS invests continuously in equipment, infrastructure, development of technology as well as the education and training of its employees.
