The Dutch Amateur Radio Emergency Service aims to make the skills and knowledge of licensed radio amateurs and registered Short Wave Listerners (SWLs) available to support the professional disaster mitigation organistions. The goal of DARES is to meet (at least parts of) the radiocommunication requirements in disaster situations.
