Fresh Day magazine began in Fall 2013 as a dream: let's find fresh words to say about faith. Beyond the usual, beyond the arguments, beyond formulas and code words -- let's find the fresh things God is doing. My talented colleague Yana Biryukova set out to design a magazine that would be unique, fresh, like nothing we had seen before. I set out to find fresh words in myself, to find fresh voices in the larger community, and to discover photographers, poets and musicians who could convey faith. We don't presume to speak all truth.
