Abel Tasman Canyons provides exciting guided canyoning trips in the popular Abel Tasman National Park, the wild and remote Kahurangi National Park, and the more accessible Mt Richmond Forest Park. All our trips are full-day activities. After making our way to the start of the canyon we get geared up in a wetsuit, a climbing harness, and a helmet (all provided) and then we find the most exciting way to go down the canyon. We JUMP into deep crystal clear pools, we SLIDE down water polished chutes, we ABSEIL besides or sometimes even through showering waterfalls, and we soar over waterfalls and giant boulders attached to a ZIPLINE.
