The Pujols Family Foundation, a national IRS 501 (c)(3) public charity dedicated to living our commitment to faith, family and others. Founded in 2005 by Albert Pujols and his wife Deidre, the foundation is rooted in their passion and desire to serve their communities. The mission of the Pujols Family Foundation is to support the Down syndrome community through once in a lifetime opportunities, while providing hope and meeting the tangible needs of those with Down syndrome and their families. The foundation also provides sustainable community initiatives for those living in impoverished conditions in the Dominican Republic, Albert's home country. The Pujols Family Foundation serves in St. Louis, MO, Southern California, Kansas City, MO, and Nashville, TN, as well as in six communities in the Dominican Republic.
