The Office for Economy, Science, Technology, Education and Youth Exchange of Bavaria in Israel was opened in December 2017 and is based in Tel Aviv. Under the leadership of Bavaria’s State Chancellery, the State of Bavaria’s Israel Office promotes collaboration between Bavarian and Israeli actors in a wide range of fields, thereby expanding and further deepening the close relations with Israel. One of the central tasks of the office is to promote the economic exchange, particularly in future-oriented fields such as mobility, health, industry 4.0 and sustainable food production. Another important aspect is cultivating Bavarian-Israeli relations in the fields of culture and education (student and youth exchange, teacher exchange, culture of remembrance, cultural projects) as well as science and innovation (establishing research cooperation and university partnerships).
