The oldest classical music festival in the world, 2022 marks our 307th year. Since the beginning of the 18th century, we have been performing the world's finest choral music in the three wonderful cathedrals of Hereford, Gloucester and Worcester.
Today's festival is a celebration of musical friendship at the highest artistic level. The Philharmonia Orchestra is resident at the festival and the world's artists and conductors are regular visitors. English music is at our heart but music from across the globe can be heard here, and we regularly commission new work.
A small team of arts professionals supports a large body of volunteers in the three cities who keep this festival vigorous and successful through their commitment, engagement, and imagination.
