BCG is a not-for-profit agricultural research and extension organisation led by farmers in the Victorian Wimmera and Mallee. BCG conducts research trials, contract trials and provides communication and extension activities on a multitude of topics. Centred from Birchip in Northern Victoria, BCG provides information to its members mainly in the Wimmera, Mallee and Loddon regions, and also to farmers across Australia. The organisation is focused on mixed farming systems (cropping and livestock) that are profitable ensuring longevity and prosperous rural communities.
