Carers Support Centre is an independent registered charity, established in 1997. Our vision is to make sure carers are identified, recognised, valued, respected and supported in their caring role. We have more than 12,000 local carers registered with us and deliver our services with 40 (full time equivalent) members of staff and over 170 volunteers. Carers Support Centre provides a range of services including: * Carers Emergency Card * confidential telephone support line and online help * one-to-one support in community settings, hospital and GP practices * short breaks service in South Gloucestershire * wellbeing support through counselling, befriending, walk and talk service  *training for carers and professionals * support for young carers
