Seattle Moisture Festival is a registered 501c3, non-profit performing arts festival, founded in 2004, bringing people together to experience the joy of the variety arts (comedy/variete, aerial, burlesque, circus arts, and much more), fostering a community of artists and strengthening Seattle's cultural vitality. Seattle Moisture Festival has become the largest, longest-running comedy/variete festival of its kind in the world. Over 200 artists participate in Moisture Festival every year, including comedy/variete artists, burlesque artists and show bands. Presenting approximately 40 events each year, including benefits for various charities, Moisture Festival is attended by more than 7,500 patrons.
