OUR MISSION
Established in 1994, Elizabeth House exists to empower pregnant and parenting women in need to reclaim their lives and build successful family legacies.
A COMPREHENSIVE PROGRAM
Elizabeth House supports 8 families at a time, and up to 20 families each year. Each family remains with us for the duration of a mother’s pregnancy and beyond to ensure a stable transition to independence.
Each woman who enters Elizabeth House participates in our core programs: Case Management, Parent Education, Health Education, Financial Management, Job Skills Training and Therapeutic Services.
The goal of our program is not only to support pregnant and parenting women during their time of crisis, but to create financial stability, child safety, recovery from substance abuse and healthy families.
CENTER FOR MOTHER AND CHILD WELLBEING
We are excited to announce that through our new Center for Mother and Child Wellbeing to be launched in 2020, we have the opportunity to extend our expert services to parenting women in our community who do not need shelter, but do need our support. The classes, workshops, therapeutic care, case management and other resources available to our residents and alumni will be open to a new group of women working to change the narratives of their lives, those of their children, and generations to come.
