The Pandanus is a 4-star beach resort in Mui Ne, Phan Thiet, Vietnam located just a five-minute walk from the famous Red Sand Dunes. The privately owned and family-managed property opened in 2004 and now counts 209 hotel rooms and 48 bungalows. It is still the only resort in Vietnam offering an optional Premium “All-Inclusive" programme.
In addition, the resort provides all guests with an introductory guided walking tour to the fishing town of Mui Ne, complimentary shuttle services to the town centre (2,5 km), a welcome reception with “wine and cheese," as well as daily live entertainment with an in-house band.
The buildings and 10 ha of beautiful landscaped gardens are designed to complement, not compete with the natural surroundings. There are two large free-form swimming pools, two restaurants serving Vietnamese cuisine as well as many Asian and European specialties, and two bars invite the thirsty until late in the evening. Throughout the gardens there are small streams, ponds with lotus blossoms, dozens of colourful tropical plants and flowers, and displays of Cham cultural icons. In the very center you will find three descending water lily ponds, with koi and other fish competing for the guests' attention. The public areas were constructed in the local Cham architectural style, with stately high wooden ceilings, while the bungalows and guest buildings match the colors of the impressive orange-colored sand dunes located just above the resort.
Café Blue Lagoon is a large open-air restaurant with seating for up to 400 people. The extensive menu offers a wide variety of international and Vietnamese dishes with a focus on local cuisine. Entertainment is provided nightly by the in-house Filipino band "Stardust."
The poolside Sun Terrace Restaurant seats up to 75 guests indoors and offers diners a spectacular ocean view. The "A La Carte" menu consists of a variety of rice and noodle dishes, steaks, pasta, soups and salads, sandwiches, pizzas and snacks.
