Crime Stoppers International (CSI) is the umbrella organisation for more than 800 Crime Stoppers chapters worldwide. An independent, not-for-profit entity, CSI is governed by a Board of Directors comprising representatives from six continents, with day-to-day operations spearheaded by an experienced management team. Our mission is "To mobilize the world to report crime anonymously", and our guarantee is 'when someone shares information with Crime Stoppers, their identity will never be exposed'. Our national and local Crime Stoppers programs form a sophisticated global network to educate communities about transnational crime, and provide platforms and channels for citizens to anonymously share information about crime and criminal activity. Crime Stoppers International focuses on encouraging communities to report transnational crime and criminal activity linked to illicit trade, human trafficking, environmental and wildlife crime, financial crime, cybercrime and international fugitives. Our work involves helping law enforcement to disrupt serious and organised crime networks; developing and executing global anti-crime campaigns; educating and encouraging communities to share information they have; and delivering capacity building and advocacy initiatives.
