He Police Department is under the command of Chief of Police, Lloyd Martley, Jr. The Basehor Police Department consists of an administration Department, Investigations, Patrol and Animal Control. The Chief is responsible for overseeing the functions of staff, Municipal Court, budget preparation and longrange planning.
