In a landscape scattered with enormous round granite boulders, a geological phenomenon to be found in only two or three other places around the world, in an area protected as of exceptional natural beauty, Alexandre Avatangelos with Gérard Margeon dreamt of vineyards springing up. Stephane Derenoncourt is the extremely experienced consultant vigneron and winemaker who pairs the varieties and tastes with the peculiarity of the local environment to set up a vineyard capable of producing the best Greek wines from the Assyrtiko and Mavrotragano indigenous varieties cultivated at Clos Stegasta in Falatados, on Tinos island, Cyclades, Greece.
