ICT exports in 2017 fetched USD 800 mn (The Daily Star, 2017) and is well on the track to make it to the USD 5 billion export mark. Majority of this revenue came from software solutions export. However, we believe robotics coupled with smart software solutions can add to this as the global demand for automation, which is on the rise. We are on the trajectory to achieve building indigenous robotic solutions that can be exported to international markets in the future with our competent prices.
