The DC Department of Employment Services (DOES) fosters economic development and growth in the District of Columbia by: - Providing District residents with workforce development services and resources; - Connecting businesses and employers to qualified, work-ready talent who trained for their industry; - Assisting eligible unemployed and injured workers with temporary aid; and - Promoting safe and healthy workplaces.
