Enactus is an international organisation, which brings together a diverse community of student, academic, and business leaders who use their entrepreneurial skills for the greater good of the world. Enactus Sri Venkateswara College, a member-society of Enactus, is a team of students working towards the betterment of a city suffocating itself to death by garbage, pollution, poverty, and the lack of opportunities. Over a span of five years, we have established a name for ourselves with innovative projects spread across varied but significant issues that currently plague our society. Enactus Sri Venkateswara College currently operates an ongoing project described as follows:- Project Crimson, an initiative which aims at providing reusable eco-friendly sanitary napkins for rural women at affordable prices and conducts awareness sessions to raise awareness of the unconscious bias that exists due to our biology and promotes sustainable menstruation. We make a difference by providing employment to women who are willing to work. This not only leads to rise in household income, but also gives them a relative sense of financial independence and drives socio-cultural change.
