Over the last 25 years Budapest Film Kft. distributed more than a thousand international and Hungarian successful movies. Budapest Film Kft. is an affiliate of the Berlin-based A Company Filmed Entertainment AG. The consortium's other subsidiary company A COMPANY HUNGARY entered the market in 2013 to release international blockbusters and Hungarian films. A COMPANY FILMED ENTERTAINMENT AG was founded by Alexander van Dülmen and five other shareholders in 2002. It started off as A COMPANY CONSULTING & LICENSING, but was renamed in 2012 in light of the expansion of the company. The Berlin based company, together with its affiliates, is one of the leading independent film license trading companies and content providers in Central and Eastern Europe, CIS and Vietnam.
