A little out of the ordinary in its methods, ATG is an innovative resource that gives voice to significant, relevant and untold stories in our community. These projects will create future educational, cultural, and artistic opportunities for Asians and Asian Americans. Led by a Board of experienced Asian American professionals and dedicated community leaders, ATG also functions as a traditional non–profit, using media projects to raise funds for international orphanages.
Our first feature documentary, OPERATION BABYLIFT: THE LOST CHILDREN OF VIETNAM, is a contemporary look at Operation Babylift and its relevance to international adoption today through the eyes of the adoptees themselves. The movie features compelling and insightful interviews from a cross-section of adoptees and volunteers. Check out www.TheBabylift.com
We host charity events (FASHION FOR A PASSION and COCKTAILS FOR A CAUSE), highlighting the talents and work of local and national Asian American artists and also participate in community outreach events at Vietnamese culture camps, Asian celebrations, cultural festivals and film festivals to bring together and promote Asian American artists everywhere.
Newly founded in 2010 is the ATG Artistic Scholarship, which will be given to talented Asian American students pursuing a degree in the arts.
