The Virginia National Organization for Women (VA NOW) is a statewide, nonprofit organization whose purpose is to bring women into full participation in society sharing equal rights while living free from discrimination. Our six core issues include reproductive rights and justice; constitutional equality; ending violence against women; LGBTQIA+ rights; racial justice; and economic justice. We promote awareness of issues that impact women and marginalized groups economically, legally, socially, and personally. Our chapters across Virginia work in their local communities and collaborate at the state level to promote feminist values and a progressive vision for a prosperous, thriving, and robust future for Virginia. We're the home of the "Virginia NOW Law Audit Project" otherwise known as VLAP. For more information on this equality project: https://vanow.org/virginia-law-audit-project
