Kearney Public Schools is located in central Nebraska serving a population of approximately 5,500 students, birth to age 21. KPS has one high school, two middle schools, ten elementary schools and one preschool building. KPS has a Kearney Community Learning Center (an afterschool program), which is available at most elementary schools and Sunrise middle school sites.
