The company specializes in completions and production fluid design and manufactures these specialty solutions to meet specific needs well needs. In October 2014, Independence was acquired by Innospec, Inc. as part of its Oilfield Specialties Group. The IOC corporate office is located in The Woodlands, TX with regional locations in every major oilfield basin in the continental United States. Each facility includes blending capabilities and fully equipped analytical labs.
