Since 2018, The University of Waikato has proudly delivered Te Hononga-ā-Kiwa on behalf of the North Asia (NACAPE), Southeast Asia (SEACAPE), and Latin America (LATAMCAPE) Centre's for Asia Pacific Excellence. With a focus on diverse sectors such as primary industry, indigenous development, sports, branding, and cultural tourism, we tailor our programs to empower participants with essential skills and insights. We have delivered programs spanning across China, Chile, Vietnam, Japan, Malaysia, Taiwan, Brazil, Colombia and Singapore, establishing a robust network of international connections. Through our programs, we actively nurture partnerships and collaborations that pave the way for Māori students and businesses to expand their horizons and seize global opportunities across the Asia-Pacific region.
