Panniankara oil mills started functioning in the 1950s under Mr. T. K. Balan and is still going on strongly. The firm is run by professionals having years of experience in commercial as well as technical fields and is headed by Mr. T. B. Krishna Das. The marketing department is headed by the young dynamic leadership of Nideesh T. Gopinath. We always believe in having no compromise in quality. We have a strong skilled labour force of around 60 workers. We have a strong customer base for both coconut oil and coconut cake whose network is spread all over India. Our clients for coconut oil are in five major states of India, and they are Kerala, Karnataka, Goa, Andhra Pradesh and Maharastra. We also have export assignments to foreign countries, especially the gulf nations. We always use the most sophisticated tools and also the advancements in Information Technology to enhance our productivity. We use unique software named, "lakshmi" to automate our process of oil milling. It is fine tuned to cater our specific needs and requirements and is a quite handy utility in performing our stringent oil milling activities. We have a sister concern, Balika Oil Mills, located at B. G. Road, West Hill, Calicut where we produce coconut oil branded, "Devi". Another brand we have introduced in the market is "Butterfly".
