MSA Resources Sdn Bhd is a telecommunications provider that provides the full suite of domestic and international telecommunications services. Following a strong track record on the strategic Malaysia Singapore Second Link Bridge, MSAR received the Right of Way (RoW) in 2016 to build, own and operate fiber optic cables on 29 highways in Peninsular Malaysia.
MSAR is currently building a new Digital Super Highway Network linking border to border, data center to data center and cable landing station to cable landing station. The main trunk connecting Johor Bahru to Kuala Lumpur will be ready by the end of January 2024 while the network to Bukit Kayu Hitam will be ready for service by end of the year. This new network will offer connectivity to new developments and industries located along the highways and also act as a platform for the adoption of future technologies such as IoT, autonomous vehicles and smart city applications.
MSAR is carrier neutral and a strong proponent of fair and open access to all providers. MSAR fully supports and upholds Malaysia’s aspirations to increase network coverage and quality for the benefit of the peoples "rakyat".
The tagline “Bridging Communities, Uniting a Nation” summarizes the mission in helping to build a greater Malaysia.
