BHUK was established in 1994 and is a national patient based UK charity that offers information and support to sufferers of chronic bladder illness. We support people with debilitating, isolating and often painful bladder problems including Chronic and Recurrent Cystitis, Interstitial Cystitis/Bladder Pain Syndrome, Overactive Bladder and Continence issues. In addition, we work with medical professionals and academics to aid new research and to lobby government and the NHS to make sure the patient voice is heard. The charity's aim is to support people with bladder illness to live positively.
