The passion to provide good primary health care services that is affordable and available to everyone, is the driving force behind Modern Family Doctor Private Limited (MFD). Established with the objective to reach out to a larger section of the community across various towns and cities, the plan is to set up 30 plus units in Bangalore by March 2012, and scaling exponentially over the next 3 years reaching out to other towns and cities in India. The vision of the promoters and the management of MFD is to assure good primary health care with a family touch through its chain of health care clinics under the brand name ’the family doctor’ and pharmacies under the brand name ‘the family pharma’ all under one roof. Under this initiative 3 Units have are already operational in 3 different locations of Bangalore – a first step toward the long and exciting journey ahead. To provide holistic and all-round primary care, a relationship has been established with Lal Pathlabs, to provide a range of Laboratory Investigation Support and with Narayana Hridayalaya to provide on-line ECG services to all the clinics. The aim is to address the early stages of health problems through our services such as consultations, diagnostics and pharmacy all at one location, creating a feel good experience.
