Bangla TV's transmission begins on 16th September 1999. Bangla TV broadcasting from London for one of the biggest minority community in UK. About 700k Bengali speaking people are now living in UK and another 700k living in EU countries. Before 1999 there was no Television channel for Bengali speaking people in this region.
