HEARS is a boutique health economics consulting practice established in 2015 as a vehicle through which to provide high quality health economics consulting services and advice to deserving clients with discrete and challenging needs, but limited capacity, expertise and budget.
With particular interests in undervalued public health programs, commercially marginal orphan drugs, neglected communities and patient groups, and independent local clinical trials, HEARS aims to bring the technical rigour and expertise of Australia's pharmaceutical reimbursement machine to those parts of the health system where they are needed most.
All potential projects are individually considered, scoped and assessed, for both need and viability. High level technical and strategic advice is generally provided quickly, at zero cost. Timelines and budgets for more extensive analytical, research and documentation projects will vary depending on need and existing workload. Such projects will be provided on a pro bono basis, where appropriate.
