Formed in 1946, the Marines' Memorial Association exists as a tribute to those who have gone before, and to provide a service to those who carry on. The flagship is the Marines’ Memorial Club & Hotel in downtown San Francisco, where members, their guests and families can meet and gather in continuation of the tradition.
A unique establishment, the Marines’ Memorial is much more than a club and hotel. The Association’s mission is to maintain a living memorial honoring veterans of all branches of the United States Armed Forces; to educate and perpetuate their achievements and sacrifices, and to provide aid and assistance to the currently serving.
