The Chisago Lakes School District unites five historical communities with a tradition of excellence. Each community offers both a unique history and a contemporary charm of its own. The 165 square-mile district is home to a little over 3,300 students (preK-12) and their families. There are three elementary schools, one middle school, one high school, and a charter school. The school district is proud of its tradition of excellence in academics, fine arts, community education and extracurricular activities. District test scores in reading and math are well in excess of the state averages, and are the best in the local area, as reported in the Star Tribune.
