Manhattan Margarita was originally born 15 years ago in the kitchen of founder Steven Brown. Steven tested, revised, and refined the formula for years to make it perfect for his family, friends and neighbors in Manhattan Beach, CA. He wanted to redefine premixed margarita as a great all natural, refreshing drink inspired by the active lifestyle of Southern California. Manhattan Margarita is made with only the finest ingredients; a blend of five different fruit juices and premium, silver agave tequila from Mexico and California-made triple sec.
In 2013 he and co-founder Jin Ishimoto raised the initial seed funding to start the company, with an added emphasis on international marketing and a strategic expansion plan. In the summer of 2014 they launched Manhattan Margarita simultaneously in Manhattan Beach, CA and Tokyo, Japan. It is now carried in Bristol Farms and high end spirits distributors as well as widely distributed throughout Japan with expansion plans set for Hawaii and Southeast Asia.
