We are a specialist nuclear fabricator working with carbon steel, alloy steel and composite structures. We have three ISO 9001:2015 facilities very close to the US border comprising:
- a 100,000 sq. ft. heavy manufacturing shop in downtown Niagara Falls, Ontario (ON) that we are currently expanding by some 20% with a world class, large horizontal boring machine,
- a 90,000 sq. ft. NQA-1 compliant nuclear fabrication and storage shop for our 55Te steel/concrete composite Dry Storage Containers (DSC) and other waste container products and that is located in Fort Erie, and,
- a 20,000 sq. ft. precision machining and assembly shop for high value alloy steel nuclear components in Brantford, ON.
We have fabricated nuclear reactor components and primary circuit pressure boundary components for the Pressurized Water Heavy Water (PHWR) reactors in Canada and hold all the necessary qualifications, codes and quality systems for such work. NEP’s NQA-1 compliant quality system covers our Nuclear Manufacturing and Engineering Quality Control System and Nuclear Fabrication and Welding.
We have long experience in the manufacture of nuclear spent fuel high level waste (HLW) containers, intermediate level nuclear waste (ILW) containers, low-level nuclear waste (LLW) containers, waste container overpacks, composite radiation shielding, nuclear gantries, bulkheads, lifting and handling systems
Our passion is manufacturing, welding and fabrication and we are retooling with robotics and large automated milling to deliver the next generation of nuclear components.
