We’ve been baking potatoes in Lincolnshire for over 30 years, changing our name to Saxon when acquired by the Abbeydale Food Group in 2011. Our factory is ideally situated in North Lincolnshire right in the middle of potato and pea growing country.
Our mushy pea business started from humble beginnings on a market stall in Bradford over 40 years ago. Over that time we have only ever used British Marrowfat peas, and as you can imagine, we pretty much know everything there is to know about making our Best of British ‘Yorkshire Caviar’.
We have the most fantastic team at Saxon who have been working with us for many years. This has resulted in us making great tasting products and consistently being awarded the highest food accreditation as well as being approved by all the major grocery and foodservice customers.
