Established in 2019, BDNE is developing the circular carbon bioeconomy in Maine.
Through the commercialization of exclusively licensed IP, Biofine enables the economic production of carbon-negative cellulosic biofuels, renewable chemicals, and biochar from forestry residuals and other ligno/cellulosic waste feedstocks.
Biofine is working to eliminate GHG emissions and permanently sequester CO2 through the commercial production of next-generation bioproducts.
