In 1980, it reorganized to form the Alliance of Architects and Engineers. In January 2006, the Alliance of Architects and Engineers merged with Thurston Design Group, LLP, to form FourFront Design, Inc. In July 2008, Black Hills Surveying also merged with FourFront Design, Inc.
