Employees of the Davis County Sheriff's Office are committed to our mission statement: Our fundamental duty is to serve the community. We are actively engaged in improving the quality of life for everyone in Davis County.
Our services range from processing and serving Court Orders—such as civil mandates, judgments, seizures, evictions, civil and criminal subpoenas—to providing emergency management, D.A.R.E., mounted posse, search and rescue, enforcement, investigations, high profile patrol, targeted patrol, crime detection and prevention, bike patrol, motor squad, canyon patrol, a K-9 program, and community outreach and engagement.
We are known nationally for our cost effective and dual-role sheriff/paramedic program. The dual role provides the most economical, quality paramedic service in the entire State of Utah and these positions are filled by some of the most competent, highly trained law enforcement and medical professionals in the United States.
Davis County Sheriff's Office is also responsible for the Davis County Jail, which includes a Work Center—a separate facility that houses work release and work detail inmates—and has a combined average daily population of approximately 800 inmates.
