Wallace & Gromit’s Grand Appeal is the only charity fundraising exclusively for the Bristol Children’s Hospital and St Michael’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (Special Care Baby Unit). Founded in 1995, the award-winning charity has raised over £50 million to save lives and support sick children and their families at Bristol children’s hospital. Money raised has helped, and is helping, patients and their families in the hospital to have access to the best medical care, pioneering equipment, expert doctors and nurses, family accommodation and patient activities. The Grand Appeal is one of Bristol’s most well-known charities, responsible for both the Gromit Unleashed and Shaun in the City art trails, Wallace & Gromit’s Charity Shop at The Mall at Cribbs Causeway and Cots for Tots House Family Accommodation.
