The Schengen Peace Foundation was initiated in 2005 and approved as a not-for-profit charity by His Royal Highness Henri the Grand Duke of Luxembourg on Oct 19th, 2007. From a small, yet international group of scholars, researchers, artists, politicians and citizens the World Peace Forum was born in 2006. Since, it has developed into a global platform for peace activists and initiatives.
