Heartbreak is not a bad word.
Yet the word heartbreak has such a stigma around it in our culture, alienating us from the “normal” people around us, such that we would rather wear an invisible cloak of shame instead of talking about it with each other. But we NEED to talk about it.
There is no one-size-fits-all approach to heartbreak, and both understanding and accepting this can be the very thing that leads to our healing. Heartbreak can transform us. The experience of love was something that changed who we are, and the incredible loss that comes from not having that anymore changes us, too. It’s okay to talk about that.
Welcome to Your Heartbreak. Let’s heal together.
