ALLERGIC TO SALAD is a culinary program providing trained educators to deliver high-quality hands-on, healthy classes for all ages -- youth, adults, families, seniors and more. Our trained educators come to you to cook international vegetarian cuisine like Spanikopita, Sushi, Paratha, Pumpkin Curry and more. Our classes create a platform for a lifetime of adventurous eating, cultural understanding, general wellness and purposeful life-skills through our CORE- and STEM-based curriculum.
Culinary classes provide basic kitchen safety, food handling, food prep and technique, including knife skills. We encourage cleanliness, proper table setting and manners. Cooking is known to build self-esteem, self-reliance, increase motor skills, math skills, and more.
Teacher training seminars provide the tools and skills to deliver high-quality culinary and garden-based education.
