In April 2018, the UAE government established the Federal Youth Authority as the main government entity in charge of running the UAE’s Youth Sector.
The Federal Youth Authority invests in Youth’s energy through its innovative Emirati Youth Framework. The Authority defines the framework as CEP which stands for its three overarching themes and objectives:
1) Character (C): Shaping and nourishing Emirati Youth Character through instilling values and national pride, raising awareness, and equipping them with capabilities and competencies through initiatives such as the Emirates Youth Professional School, Emirates Youth Summer Academy, Emirates Youth Values National Program, Youth 101, Youth Debates, and 100 mentors.
2) Environment (E): Creating a conducive, world-class ecosystem that enables and accelerates positive youth outcomes. FYA curates an ecosystem that fosters ultimate Youth development and growth with free and innovative platforms and spaces such as Youth Hubs, and Youth Launchpads throughout the UAE.
3) Participation (P): Activating and maximizing Youth's meaningful participation and contribution in local, national, regional, and international platforms such as Youth Circles, Youth Councils, Emirates Youth Global Initiative, and UN Youth Delegates Program.
We connect youth, aged of ages 15 to 35, to their government and the UAE government to their youth, and we are by bridging the work of Federal, local, semi-private, and private sector institutions to fulfill the UAE’s National Youth Agenda and ensure the main objectives are fulfilled.
