Founded in 1988 by Charles Ruggieri, Batipart Invest is an independent diversified holding company that carries out investments in- and outside Europe with a business approach that combines (and promotes) entrepreneurial spirit, financial discipline, responsible investing, sustainable development. Batipart has originally acquired its expertise from the asset management of residential properties in France (primarily in the north-east region of Lorraine), thereafter - in the early 2000s – the group has progressively broadened and diversified its activities: - Covivio (formerly Foncière des Régions) until the year 2010; - Korian until the year 2014; - Eurosic until the year 2017; - Batipart Immo Europe as from 2017. More recently, the process of diversification has been accompanied and completed by a process of geographical expansion, notably through dedicated investments in Africa (Onomo Hotels) and North America (Cogir Real Estate and Parc Oméga). Through its various investments and the organization of its teams, Batipart plays a long-term business developer role, family-owned, with a reasoned and sustainable management that places the entrepreneurial adventure as a core value of its activity.
