Artisans Angkor is a social company specializing in Khmer handicrafts and silk that strives to alleviate poverty in Cambodia. It trains young Cambodians in the art of their ancestors: silk weaving, wood and stone carving, lacquering, silk painting, silver plating and ceramics. Artisans Angkor's seven boutiques in Siem Reap and Phnom Penh showcase high quality handmade pieces, such as majestic stone and wood statues, exquisite silk scarves, clothing and accessories, original home decoration in lacquer, silver plated copperware or ceramic as well as elegant ornamental paintings. At the Siem Reap craft workshops and the Angkor Silk Farm, visitors are welcome to discover the traditional handicraft processes during free guided tours.
