The Center brings together the resources of NYU’s Law School and Stern School of Business to enhance graduate education as well as student and faculty research in areas where law and business intersect.
Our mission has three principal parts:
* Professional Education: To enrich the teaching curriculum of both schools through the development of unique courses.
* Scholarship: To facilitate professional interaction and academic research by faculty who share an interest in the structure, regulation, and function of the market economy.
* Policy and Professionalism: To contribute to the public welfare by supporting scholarship that assists governmental and private policymakers in their pursuit of enhanced business productivity, and by sponsoring data research as well as seminars, conferences, and other events that advance the public discourse on law and business.
