Mosty Łódź S.A. is biggest Polish owned infrastructure construction company, which specialize in construction and design of bridges and tunnels, successfully present on Polish market for almost 40 years. P.R.M. “Mosty-Łódź” S.A. has its roots in Płockie Przedsiębiorstwo Robót Mostowych (Bridge Construction Enterprise of Płock), an entity of many establishments and a history which goes as far back as 1945. In May 1992, the enterprise employees established a joint-stock company registered as a business entity on 15 June 1992 under the name Przedsiębiorstwo Robót Mostowych “Mosty- Łódź” SA. Rapid growth of the company began after 1992. The accrued profit was invested in new specialist equipment and transport vehicles. Education of the engineering staff was also undertaken. In 1995-1997, postgraduate study in bridge engineering was established at the Łódź University of Technology.
