The Conseil économique et coopératif de la Saskatchewan (CÉCS) is the voice for economic development in the francophone community, for which it has been responsible since 1947. The CÉCS offers a wide range of programs and services to meet needs and challenges identified by the francophone community. By being proactive, the CÉCS has been able to position itself to advantage in the area of francophone economic development and, in doing so, to create interest among other economic stakeholders on the provincial, national and international scenes. To better target francophone needs, the CÉCS has 5 offices in Saskatchewan: Moose Jaw, Bellevue, Zenon Park, Regina and Saskatoon. COMMUNITY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT Encouraging individuals, businesses, and communities to capitalize on the economic potential of their region. CAPACITY BUILDING Supporting communities to organize and take control of community economic development. Through its membership in the Réseau de développement économique et d’employabilité (RDÉE), the CÉCS is able to make a wealth of services available to the province’s Francophone communities.
