Media for Education and Development in Action (MEDIA One) is a non-profit, non-partisan, independent Cambodian non-governmental organization (NGO) registered with the Royal Cambodian Ministry of Interior. The organization was founded on the belief that sustainable and equitable development requires open dialogue between all sectors of society. Its slogan – Many Voices, One Cambodia – reflects MEDIA One’s vision of a Cambodia where all voices are respected, and equal access to information connects and empowers communities to lead happy, healthy and prosperous lives. MEDIA One grew out of the Equal Access Cambodia (http://www.equalaccess.org) country program and was founded in August 2011. The organization officially launched on 27 January 2012. The MEDIA One mission is to foster positive social change by delivering critically needed information and education through innovative media, cutting-edge technology and direct community engagement.
