We at Girl Up Ikhtiyar believe that a gender-balanced society is an aspiration everyone should have. We want equality to be a reality and not just a wish, and we want to be the changemakers to do so. Girl Up Ikhtiyar will work towards advocating for gender equality and curtailing discrimination based on gender. Our aim is to help people realize the value of raising awareness for equality of opportunities. Initiating a conversation about body rights, gender rights and human rights is an essential part of our club. We want to mobilize people in our community to join hands with us and work towards doing our part to prove how women can lead the world too. We want to campaign and spread awareness about the current societal structures and how to work towards their betterment. Our goal is a gender sensitised society, a safe space for everyone.
